What We Believe

We are a local community of faith, which is part of the worldwide Body of Christ. We cooperate in the larger church in efforts which further the cause of Christ. We are part of the whole Church of the Brethren and of the Shenandoah District of the Church of the Brethren. We are cooperating partners in mission in the District and Brotherhood. We send delegates(s) to both District and Annual Conferences, and we are guided in our decisions and programs by the actions of both conferences. Our congregation is and shall remain a member of the Church of the Brethren or its successor.

What We Observe

• The baptism of the believer by immersion and confession of faith
• The consecration of parents and children early in the life of the child
• The remembrance of the Last Supper as proclaimed in the New Testament
• The anointing service for forgiveness of sin, strengthening of faith, and the restoration of health
